JD STEEL Rocky Mountain

The Rocky Mountain Region’s first job, in '95, was Micron Technologies in Lehi, UT. This job consisted of 20,000 tons of rebar and lasted about a year and a half. Since that time, we have performed work throughout Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, and parts of Northern California.

Keith Smith

Regional Manager
Keith Smith began his career in the concrete reinforcement industry in 1984. Starting in southern California, Keith progressively held every rank and classification a person can hold as a rodman. From a first period apprentice to an operations manager, Keith has been border to border and coast to coast working on every type of project imaginable, including a five-year tenure as an estimator and detailer while owning his own business. Keith has been a big part of the J.D. Steel management team since 2001 and we feel very fortunate to have Keith as our Rocky Mountain Regional Manager.
